01Who we are
Levels & Leaderboards ("the app", "the service") is operated by Podium — Levels & Leaderboards, registered in the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce / KvK 92815111) ("we", "us"). These terms govern all use of the app — by community owners who install it ("creators") and by community members who use it ("members"). Questions? Contact hi@futureproofmarketer.com.
By installing or using the app you accept these terms. If you use the app on behalf of a company or community, you confirm you are authorised to accept them for it.
02The service
The app adds gamification to Whop communities: points ("XP"), levels, leaderboards, badges, streaks, quests, season rewards and an XP shop. Activity in a connected community — and, when a creator connects one, in a linked Discord server — earns XP according to rules the creator configures.
The app runs on the Whop platform. Whop's own terms and policies apply alongside these terms; Whop provides authentication, hosting of communities and all payment processing.
03Plans, billing & cancellation
- The free plan is free forever within its limits. Paid plans (Pro, Scale, Enterprise) are billed monthly through Whop at the prices shown on the Billing tab, and renew automatically each month until cancelled.
- Cancelling stops future renewals; the paid plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months, except where the law requires it.
- If a renewal payment fails or a plan is cancelled, the community falls back to the free plan. No data is deleted — features beyond the free limits simply pause until the plan is reactivated.
- Promotional codes can reduce or waive fees for a limited number of billing cycles; after the promotion the regular price applies.
04Creator responsibilities
- Rewards you promise members — prizes, promo codes, shop items, season rewards — are your offer and your responsibility to honour. We provide the mechanics, not the rewards.
- You must have the authority to connect the integrations you enable (for example, being an administrator of a Discord server you connect), and you are responsible for telling your members that community activity is scored.
- You may not use the app for communities engaged in illegal activity, and you must comply with Whop's and Discord's own terms when using those platforms with the app.
05Fair play
XP is meant to reflect genuine participation. Automated, scripted or coordinated activity intended to inflate XP ("farming") is not permitted. Creators can exclude members from earning and ranking, and the app applies anti-gaming measures such as caps, cooldowns and pattern detection. We may correct XP balances that result from abuse or technical error.
06Discord integration
When a creator connects a Discord server, our bot reads channel messages and reactions to award XP. The bot is read-only: it does not post, send direct messages or manage roles. Members are matched through the Discord account linked to their own Whop profile; a member who does not link Discord simply earns no XP for Discord activity.
07Availability & changes
We aim for high availability but provide the service "as is" and "as available", without uptime guarantees. Activity scoring runs periodically, so XP can appear with a short delay. We may improve, change or discontinue features; if a change materially reduces what a paid plan offers, we will announce it in the dashboard before it takes effect.
08Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees the affected community paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, for the conduct of creators or members, for rewards offered by creators, or for outages of Whop, Discord, or other platforms the app depends on. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence.
09Termination
- Creators can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it; data is then deleted after the grace period described in the Privacy Policy.
- We may suspend or terminate access to the service for material breach of these terms, abuse, or use that risks harm to the service or other users. Where reasonable, we will warn first.
10Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
11Changes to these terms
If we materially change these terms we will update the date above and announce the change in the app's dashboard before it takes effect. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
